No-Fuss Garlic Bread

I'm in the camp that thinks when things say no-fuss, they should actually BE no-fuss. Here's the easiest recipe for garlic bread I could come up with without sacrificing flavor. It's delicious, and has a nice crunch on the outside while being soft and moist in the middle. Try it out!

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Lay the baguette slices on a large cookie sheet. Bake the bread for 7 minutes or until the tops have begun to brown. Immediately remove from the oven and rub the garlic halves onto the bread. Mince the garlic after this step.

Spread a good amount of butter on each slice. Sprinkle a liberal amount of Parmesan on top of the butter, and then top with a light sprinkling of garlic powder. Top with the minced garlic.

Bake at 400 degrees for 7-10 minutes, or until the butter and cheese have melted and the top garlic has started to brown. Serve hot.
