We’ve decided to liven up our classic oatmeal cookie recipe by incorporating super-grain tahini and some chocolate chunks. This recipe is whole-grain, high in fiber, and absolutely delicious. These chewy chocolate chip treat that will be a hit at any cookout or bake sale. We bet you can’t eat just one.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 cups of steel cut oats
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • ⅛ cup maple syrup
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chunks

Directions

Line your baking sheet with parchment paper or spray it with non-stick spray.
Place tahini, maple syrup, and cinnamon into a medium-sized mixing bowl and whisk these ingredients together until they are evenly combined.
Then, slowly fold in flour and steel-cut oats until this mixture is also completely blended.
Finally, fold in your chocolate chips.
Spoon cookie dough onto your baking sheet in even lumps.
Sprinkle with a little bit of sea salt on the top of each unbaked cookie.
Bake your cookies for about 10 minutes, then remove and place on a cooling tray.
