  • 4 cored apples
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • ¾ cup apple cider
  • ¼ cup coarsely chopped walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons raisins
  • ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons maple cider

Combine the walnuts, raisins, and brown sugar and then add ¼ teaspoon cinnamon. Peel the top third of each apple and place them in the crockpot. Spoon the nut mixture into each apple. Combine the remaining ingredients in a bowl and stir well. Pour this over the apples and cover the pot. Cook for 2.75 hours on low.
