Ingredients
- 3/4 C. butter
- 1 Tbs. corn syrup
- 1/2 C. brown sugar
- 1 C. oats
- pinch mixed cinnamon and allspice
- vegetable shortening for greasing
Directions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees. Melt the butter with the corn syrup and sugar in a pan. Add the oats and the mixed spice and stir well. Pour into a greased 10x7-inch baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes until golden brown. Cut into 10 cakes while still warm.
