Oh So Good Chocolate Cake

This chocolate cake recipe is simple and oh so good! Feel free to alter the type of flour or sugar to your preference.

Ingredients

  • 3 C. sifted flour and measure after sifting
  • 2 C. Splenda or sugar or blend
  • 2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 6 Tbs. cocoa
  • 3/4 C. canola oil
  • 2 C. lukewarm water
  • 2 Tbs. vinegar
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 - 3/4 C. sour cream
  • nuts and frosting optional

Directions

Mix dry ingredients together. Add canola oil, lukewarm water, vinegar, vanilla and sour cream. Mix well and pour in greased 9x14-inch cake pan or bundt cake pan and bake 30-40 minutes at 350 degrees. Frost if desired.
