  • 1 lb. pasta shells, cooked and drained
  • 2 C. broccoli florets
  • 2 T. butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 T. flour
  • 1 C. vegetable broth
  • 1 C. milk
  • 2 ½ C. cheddar cheese, shredded
  • ½ C. Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts, cooked and chopped

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large saucepan, melt butter and sauté garlic until fragrant. Whisk in flour, cook for about a minute while whisking, and then gradually add in vegetable broth; whisk until sauce is smooth. Add milk, bring to a simmer, and remove from heat. Stir in cheddar and Parmesan until melted and season with salt and pepper. In a greased baking dish, toss cooked pasta with chicken, broccoli, and sauce. Bake for 20 minutes until bubbly.
