  • 2 Tbs. olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot, finely chopped
  • 1 celery, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1/2 lb. ground beef
  • 1 C. red wine
  • 1 tsp. dry rosemary
  • 1 tsp. dry sage
  • 1 pkg. tagliatelle pasta, cooked
  • Salt and pepper to taste

In large pan over medium heat, heat oil. Add onion, carrot, celery and garlic. Cook for 5 minutes. Add meat and cook for 10 minutes. Stir occasionally. Pour wine and stir until it reduces. Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 1 hour. Serve over hot tagliatelle pasta.
