Ingredients

  • 1 Tbs. olive oil
  • 10 oz. ground turkey
  • 1/4 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/8 tsp. salt
  • 1/8 tsp. pepper
  • 14 oz. chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 C. water
  • 6 oz. can tomato paste
  • 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/4 tsp. ground pepper
  • 1 pkg. spaghetti
  • 2 tbs. parmesan cheese

  1. In a large pan, cook turkey, onions, red pepper flakes and garlic. Season with salt & pepper.

  2. Cook until meat is almost cooked through and onions are tender.

  3. Add broth, water, tomato paste, Italian seasoning and pepper. Bring to a boil.

  4. Stir in spaghetti.

  5. Return to a boil and stir pasta.

  6. Reduce heat slightly for 17-20 minutes until the spaghetti is tender. Stir frequently.

  7. Serve with parmesan cheese.
