One-Skillet Sausage & Penne Pasta

- ¾ lb Italian Sausage, casings removed
- 1 ¼ C Water
- 1 14.5-oz can Diced Tomatoes (with Herbs)
- 1 C Tomato Sauce
- 8oz Penne Pasta, uncooked
- ¼ C Parmesan Cheese, grated
Begin this recipe for one-skillet sausage and penne pasta by heating a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add your sausage to the pan and let cook for about five minutes. Break up the sausage into crumbles as you cook. Once finished, drain the pan of any fat and return the sausage to the heat.
Pour in your water, tomatoes with their juices, tomato sauce, and pasta. Stir well to combine and allow the skillet to come to a boil. Cover with a lid and then reduce the heat to a simmer. Let cook for 15 minutes or until the pasta is tender. Garnish with parmesan cheese and serve warm.
