Onion Glazed Ham with Vegetables

- 1 envelope Onion Soup Mix
- 1 C Water
- 1/3 C Brown Sugar, packed
- ¼ C Sherry
- 2 tbs Butter
- 1 bunch Rosemary, roughly chopped
- 1 5-6-lb fully cooked Ham Butt End
- 2 Bulb Onions
- 4 large Carrots, peeled
- 1 whole Head Garlic, top cut off
- 1 red Hot Pepper
Begin this recipe for onion glazed ham with vegetables by preheating your oven to 375 degrees. Next, combine the onion soup mix, water, brown sugar, sherry, butter and rosemary in a small bowl. Stir to combine fully.
Set your ham in a large roasting pan. score the ham all around and then top with the soup mixture. Stuff the scored areas with any amount of rosemary and garlic. Arrange your vegetables around the ham and then set in the oven to bake for about one hour or until golden brown.
If you are making this meal ahead of time, be advised that the cooked ham can stay in the refrigerator with the vegetables and seasonings for about three to four days. Uncooked meat should never be kept with vegetables. Enjoy!
