This Super Bowl weekend is going to be a family reunion of all of our favorite snacks, appetizers, and desserts. We’ve created a fusion between Chinese Fast Food Favorite, Orange Chicken, and football snack favorite, buffalo wings.

  • 4 pounds chicken wings, separated
  • Peanut oil
  • 1 ½ cups corn starch
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 ½ cups orange marmalade
  • ½ cup hoisin sauce
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons ginger powder
  • 1 ½ tablespoons sesame oil

Take a sauce pan over medium heat and warm up the sesame oil. Cook the ginger and garlic for about 2 minutes, then adding in the black pepper, red pepper, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and marmalade. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring constantly. Once the sauce has thickened, remove from heat.

Fill a deep fryer or deep skillet with 2 inches of oil and set to 350 degrees. Whisk the eggs in a small bowl and pour the corn starch in a separate bowl. Take each wing and dip first into the eggs and then into the corn starch, making sure each is well coated. Fry the wings for 6-7 minutes on each side and drain on paper towels while you are frying the remaining wings. Remove the wings to a large glass bowl and toss with the orange sauce. Serve immediately.
