Orange Pecan Noodles

Ingredients
- 1 lb. wide egg noodles such as fettuccine
- 2 C. chopped pecans
- 1/2 C. butter or margarine
- 2 tsp. grated orange peel
- 1 C. orange juice
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- orange slices for garnish (optional)
Directions
Cook noodles according to package directions, al dente, in well- salted water. Drain. Meanwhile, in a small saucepan over medium heat, sauté pecans in butter, stirring often, for about 5 minutes; add orange peel and juice. Combine pecan mixture, noodles, salt and pepper, and toss lightly. Garnish with orange slices if desired.
