• 1/2 C. butter
• 3 oz. baking chocolate
• 2 eggs
• 1 C. all-purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp. double acting baking powder
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1 tsp. vanilla extract
• 3/4 C. Oreo cookies, crushed
• 2 C. brown sugar

Melt butter and chocolate in the top of a double broiler. Cool slightly. Beat in remaining ingredients by hand. Pour into a greased 8 x 12-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees F until set, approximately 30 minutes.

Yield: 12 brownies
