Oreo® Caramel Delight

An Oreo crust holds a caramel and cream cheese filling, finally topped with more cookies.

  • 1 pkg. (1 lb. 1 oz.) chocolate cream Oreos®
  • 14 oz. caramels
  • 1/2 C. butter or margarine
  • 1 can (5 oz.) evaporated milk
  • 1 C. confectioners' sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tub (16 oz.) whipped topping, divided

Crush Oreos. Spread 3/4 of them in bottom of a 9x13" pan. Melt together milk, butter and caramels and pour over cookies, let cool. Blend together confectioners' sugar, vanilla and cream cheese. Then blend in 2 C. whipped topping. Mix well. Spread over caramel/cookie mixture. Top with remaining whipped topping. Sprinkle remaining Oreo's on top. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving.
