Original McDonald's Cheeseburger

Ingredients
- 1⁄2 teaspoon dried onion flakes
- 2 teaspoons boiling water
- 1⁄8 lb ground beef
- 1 plain hamburger bun
- salt
- 1 tablespoon ketchup
- 1⁄2 teaspoon prepared mustard
- 1 dill pickle, slice
- 1 slice American cheese

Add dried onion to boiling water let it rest until it is no longer dry. Roll ground beef and press flat on waxed paper until 1/8-inch thick. In a dry frying pan, brown the faces of each bun over medium heat. Remove bun and begin to cook burger in frying pan for 2 minutes per side. Lightly add salt to each side while cooking. On the top bun, add ketchup, mustard and onion and top with pickle slice and slice of cheese. Place patty on bottom bun and quickly place the two buns together. Microwave burger for 15 seconds. Serve.
