This is one of my family's comfort foods. It's fast and easy, and costs around $4 to feed 4 people. Looks like an egg drop soup and tastes yummy!

Ingredients

  • 1 box orzo pasta
  • 1 lg. can chicken broth
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/8 C. olive oil
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. parsley flakes
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Bring broth to a boil. Add orzo and cook according to directions. In a bowl, beat eggs with oil and garlic, parsley, salt and pepper. When pasta is done, pour in egg mixture and stir.
