Ribs don't need to be slathered in BBQ sauce to be delicious. Making a simple glaze is enough to pull forth the amazing flavors. Top with a mixture of green onions and fresh lemon zest to complete this homey and healthy dinner dish.

  • 3 lb Pork Ribs
  • 4 Tbsp Old Bay Seasoning
  • 3 Tbsp Granulated Sugar
  • 4 Table Spoon Garlic Powder
  • 2 Tbsp Thyme
  • 2 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 oz lemon juice
  • 1 Tbsp Salt
  • 1 Tbsp Ground Pepper
  • 1 Green onion, chopped
  • Zest of one lemon

For glaze, combine sugars, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, thyme and lemon juice in a bowl. Let sit for a couple of hours before applying glaze to pork ribs. Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Coat ribs with salt and pepper. Using a fork, poke tiny holes on front and back of ribs. Rub the ribs with glaze mixture. Cook the ribs for 45 minutes to an hour or until done. Add chopped onion mixed with lemon zest on top when serving.
