You don't need a fryer for fried chicken anymore, just an oven!

20 min preparation + 60 min cooking

Ingredients

  • 3-lb. frying chicken, cut up in serving pieces
  • 1/4 tsp. pepper
  • 1/2 C. spry, melted
  • 2 tsp. salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Combine spry, salt and pepper. Rub spry well into each piece. Put chicken in shallow baking dish. Bake uncovered in oven for 50-60 minutes or until golden brown on both sides. Turn just once.
