Pan Fried Apples

- 3 or 4 lg., tart apples, cored and sliced
- 2 Tbs. bacon drippings or butter
- 1/3 C. honey or brown sugar
- salt and cinnamon
Heat apples slices in hot bacon drippings in skillet until they soften, stirring to turn over. Add honey or brown sugar and a little salt and cinnamon, if desired. The honey or sugar will glaze the slices if allowed to remain on the fire, covered, 5-10 minutes, depending on heat.
