Pan-Toasted Brussels Sprouts
- one 12-oz package Brussels sprouts
- 2 Tbs. olive oil
- 1/2 C. chicken broth
- grated Parmesan cheese
Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Cut Brussels sprouts in half. Place them cut-side down in a hot pan and add chicken broth. When the liquid boils, cover and cook for about 5 minutes. Remove lid and cook until sprouts brown and broth evaporates. Remove from heat and sprinkle with cheese.
