  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 package active dry yeast
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • Dash of salt
  • 1 egg
  • 3 1/2 cups bread flour
  • 2 tablespoons canola oil

Preheat your oven to 375 degrees.

Mix the yeast, sugar, and warm water together. Let it sit for 10 minutes, then whisk in the egg and oil. Sift in the flour. Take a standing mixer with a bread hook and beat the dough for eight minutes.

Knead the dough on a floured surface. Place the dough in a bowl filled with oil and roll the dough in the bowl, covering the whole surface of the dough ball with oil. Let the dough rise for 2 hours.

Punch the dough. Grease a 9 x 5 pan with the canola oil. Put the dough in the pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until it's golden brown.
