Healthy fries?! You must try these avocadoes dipped in Japanese breadcrumbs and fried. They’re a great appetizer for any event.

  • ¼ cup flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 ¼ cup panko
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 avocado, pit and peeled
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Slice the avocado into 1/2 –inch wedges and heat the vegetable oil to 375 degrees F in a saucepan. In a small bowl, mix the flour and salt together. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs until they are blended. Place the panko in another separate bowl. Dip the avocado wedges in the flour, then the egg, then the panko. Make sure the avocado is coated in the panko breadcrumbs. Fry the avocado wedges in batches for 1 minutes or until golden. Drain them on a paper towels and enjoy!
