  • 1/2 pkg. puff pastry sheets, thawed
  • 2 T. vegetable oil
  • 1 15-oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1 6-oz. can tomato paste
  • 1 T. oregano
  • 1 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. paprika
  • 1 C. mushrooms, sliced
  • 1/2 C. cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 C. pepperoncini, sliced
  • 2 C. shredded mozzarella cheese

Preheat your oven to 400°F. On a lightly floured surface, unfold the pastry sheet into desired pizza shape. Fold over the edges to form a thicker crust. In a medium sauce pan, heat oil until hot. Add in mushrooms, tomatoes, and pepperoncini. Sauté until tender. In a large bowl, combine tomato sauce, tomato paste, oregano, garlic powder, and paprika. Spread sauce onto the center of the puff pastry. Add sautéed vegetables and sprinkle with cheese. Bake for five minutes, or until cheese has melted. Let stand for five minutes before serving.
