Papaya Mango Jam

Spice up your toast--or whatever you want to put jam on--with this tropical concoction! You won't find something this good at your grocery store!

Ingredients

  • 3 C. ripe mango flesh cut in 1/2 cubes
  • 3 C. ripe papaya flesh cut in 1/2 cubes
  • 3 C. sugar
  • 3 Tbs. fresh-squeezed lime juice, strained

Directions

Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil over moderate heat, stirring constantly. Next, reduce heat to minimum and cook uncovered 30-40 min or until visible liquid is evaporated. Stir frequently. Put up for canning in the normal way.
