  • 1-2 lb. beef roast, cut into pieces
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ΒΌ C. all-purpose flour
  • 1 T. paprika
  • 2 T. olive oil
  • 1 (10 oz.) can French onion soup
  • 1 C. red wine
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp. oregano
  • 2 C. mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 red chili pepper, chopped

In a bowl, combine flour, salt, pepper, and paprika. Add in beef pieces and toss to evenly coat. In a skillet, heat oil and cook beef until browned. Transfer beef into your crockpot and stir in French onion soup, wine, garlic, oregano, mushrooms, carrots, onion, and chili pepper. Cook on low for 8 hours until tender.
