Party Platter Nachos
Serving Size / Yield
- 1 pound lean ground beef
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 16-oz. can refried beans
- 1 8-oz. can tomato sauce
- 1 bag tortilla chips
- 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1 6-oz. can pickled jalapenos (optional)
- 3 to 4 cups shredded Cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese blend
Brown the beef with the taco seasoning in a skillet. If you don't like onions with bite, you can also add the onion to the beef to soften. Drain excess grease from the beef and allow to cool.
On a large, foil-lined cookie sheet assemble the nachos. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until the cheese has melted and begins to bubble.
