  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 1 C. peeled potatoes
  • 1 C. carrots
  • 1/4 medium onion
  • 1/2 T. butter or margarine
  • 1 box Pillsbury pie crusts
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Dice potatoes, carrots, and onion. Combine vegetables, salt, pepper, ground beef, and butter into a large wok over medium heat. Make sure to brown the meat thoroughly and set aside. Soften the pie crust as directed and roll it out on a cutting board. Use a 3-inch round cookie cutter to cut rounds from the pie crust. Fill the rounds with 1 tsp of beef filling each. Dampen fingers and fold the crust in half, pressing down to seal. Use a fork to indent the design on sides. Repeat process for all remaining rounds. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
