Layer two cakes together and put whatever filling you're craving in the middle. Pour them into muffin pans for cute individual cakes.   • 3 C. sugar
  • 2 sticks butter (softened)
  • 3 C. cake flour
  • 1 C heavy cream
  • 6 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/3 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder

Cream butter and sugar with mixer.
Beat in one egg at a time.
Add cream and flour and mix.
Add baking powder, salt, and vanilla and mix. 
Place batter in prepared bundt pan, round cake pan, or rectangular loaf pan.
Place in cold oven. Turn oven to 350 degrees and bake for one hour.
