Peach Cobbler

This peach cobbler should be a standard summertime dessert.

Ingredients

  • 5 slices white bread, crusts removed and cut into 5 slices each
  • 1 29 oz. can sliced peaches, drained
  • 1 stick margarine, melted
  • 1 egg
  • 2 Tbs. flour
  • 1 1/2 C. sugar

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 F. Place drained peaches in a pan no less than 13." Mix melted margarine with sugar, egg and flour. Place bread over peaches (like a crust) and pour mixture over bread, saturating every piece. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool.
