Peach Punch

This is a refreshing beverage to serve in the summer months to really quench your thirst. The pretty pinkish-orange color makes for a lovely non-alcoholic cocktail (although you can feel free to spike it if you'd like!).

  • 1 C. sugar
  • 2 C. water
  • 1/2 C. orange juice
  • 2 C. sliced peaches and juice
  • 1/4 C. lemon juice

Boil the water and sugar together for one minute; set aside to cool. Force the peaches through a puree sieve and combine the pulp with the orange and lemon juice. Add to the cooled syrup and let chill thoroughly. Just before serving, strain and dilute to taste with mineral water or ice water.
