Peanut Butter Frosting

Nothing goes better on a chocolate cake than peanut butter frosting. This is my family's favorite birthday treat!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C. creamy peanut butter
  • 1/2 C. butter or margarine, softened
  • 2 C. confectioner's sugar
  • 5-6 tsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

In a large bowl, with mixer at medium speed, beat peanut butter and butter (or margarine) until light and fluffy. Gradually beat in sugar, alternately with milk until frosting is a good spreading consistency. Beat in vanilla extract. This makes enough frosting to frost one 13x9x2-inch cake.
