Peanut Butter Fudge Brownies
Time needed
Serving Size / Yield
Ingredients
- 1 C. unsalted butter
- 6 oz. unsweetened chocolate
- 4 eggs
- 1 1/2 C. sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 C. flour
- 1 C. creamy peanut butter
- 1 C. chocolate morsels
- 2-4 Tbs. evaporated milk
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 13x9-inch baking pan. Melt butter and unsweetened chocolate in top of double boiler, over low heat. Remove from heat. In large electric mixer bowl, beat eggs with sugar and vanilla until light and creamy. Add melted chocolate and flour, beating until well mixed. Pour mixture into prepared pan and spread evenly. Bake in oven for 17-20 minutes or until set, but still fudge-like inside. Remove from oven and cool.
Spread a layer of peanut butter on surface. Melt chocolate morsels with 2 Tbs. milk. When melted, mix chips and milk thoroughly. If texture is not smooth enough, add additional milk. Spread gently over peanut butter layer, being careful not to disturb peanut butter. Allow chocolate to rest or serve immediately.
