  • I wish I would have read the reviews before trying this recipe. I probably should have known that 5 minutes of boiling was way too long. They turned out more like peanut brittle, than a sticky cookie!! Now if I can just get the pan clean!!

  • Thanks so much for the recipe. And for the tip bailey. I have yet to get a chance to try these, but they sound wonderful and so easy. I am for sure only going to heat my sugar/syrup and then add the PB. Both cereals sound great as well..... decisions, decisions.

  • I have been making these for 35 years and LOVE them except my recipe is a little different. I use 1 cup each of the sugar, syrup and peanut butter and 5 cups of corn flakes. I bring the sugar and syrup to a boil and remove from heat, add the peanut butter, stir in the corn flakes and drop by spoonfuls onto wax paper. 5 min boiling the sugar/syrup mixture is way too long.

  • This is a great recipe, however, instead of Rice Krispies, try Frosted Flakes!

  • I made these and they turned out great. I, however, only left it on the burner for about 1-2 mins until everything was hot enough to mix and melt together. My family loved them. I even added some milk chocolate baking bits to the mix when it was semi-warm so they would not melt all the way. I hope this helps with the cement problem.

  • I would imagine you could use cocoa krispies or other flavored krispies also
