Peanut Butter Toffee Bars
- 1 pkg. (2 layer size) yellow cake mix
- 1 C. crunchy peanut butter
- 1/2 c. water
- 2 eggs
- 1 10 oz. bag almond toffee bits or milk chocolate toffee bits
- 1 12 oz. bag semi sweet chocolate chips
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease bottom and sides of a 15x10-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray, lightly flour. In a large bowl, mix cake mix, peanut butter, water and eggs with spoon. Stir in toffee bits. Spread evenly into pan. Bake 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips over hot bars. Let stand about 5 minutes or until chips are melted; spread evenly. Cool completely, about 1 hour. Cut into bars.
