Craving quesadillas but want to stay on the healthy side? Now you can with this Pear and Brie Quesadilla recipe! This takes quesadillas on a whole different level. I know some of you are thinking, meat goes better with quesadillas. Ummm.. no, you can be creative as long as you got the flour tortillas. For my people who want a light quesadillas, this one got brie cheese and pears to combine the cheesy and tart taste.

  • 2 flour tortillas
  • ½ cup of brie cheese, sliced
  • ½ pear, cored and thinly sliced
  • A pinch of ground nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to season
  • Kiwi, blueberries, and strawberries for decoration

On a large cast iron griddle, heat the tortillas in medium heat. When the tortillas are heated nicely, place the cheese and pear slices. Put a dash of nutmeg, salt and pepper. Place one of the tortillas on top of the cheese and pear slices.
Cook the quesadilla for three minutes on each slide or until the cheese is melted. Cut the quesadilla in 6 triangles.
Decorate the quesadilla with fruits.
