Pear & Baby Green Salad

Pears at a sweet taste to ordinary green salad.

Ingredients

  • 3 Bartlett pears, cored and thinly sliced
  • 6 C. baby greens
  • 1 avocado, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 C. olive oil
  • 1/4 C. lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. sugar
  • 1/4 C. fresh basil leaves, chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

Combine olive oil, lemon juice, sugar, basil, salt, and pepper in a cruet and shake well. Arrange baby greens and pears in a large bowl. Just before serving, pour dressing over greens and toss.
