Pear & Gorgonzola Quesadillas

This sweet and savory dish turns a simple quesadilla into a gourmet-tasting delight.

Directions

Heat skillet over medium heat.  Assemble quesadillas by sprinkling 2 Tbs. Gorgonzola on half of a tortilla.  Place 1/4 of the sliced pears over the cheese, then sprinkle another 2 tablespoons cheese over the pears.  Fold tortilla in half, then assemble remaining quesadilas.

Melt butter in the skillet and spread to cover surface.  Grill quesadillas for about 2 minutes per side or until golden.  Cut quesadillas into wedges and top with walnuts and pear sauce.
