Pears with Honey, Walnuts & Pecorino Cheese
Ingredients
- 4 pears
- 2/3 C. pecorino cheese
- 3 Tbs. clear honey, such as acacia or orange blossom
- 1/3 C. walnuts, shelled
Directions
Quarter the pears, remove the cores and peel. Using a very sharp knife, slice the quarters lengthways into thin 1/4 in. slices. Slice the pecorino in the same way as the pears. Arrange the pear and pecorino slices on a serving plate. Spoon the honey over the top and sprinkle with the walnuts.
