Peas and Prosciutto

Ingredients
- 1/4 C. butter
- 1 sm. onion, sliced
- 2 C. fresh peas
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbs. water
- 6 slices prosciutto, shredded
- 1/4 tsp. sugar
Directions
Put butter and onion in a saucepan and brown gently. Add peas, salt, pepper and water and cook for 10 minutes. Stir frequently. Add prosciutto, lower heat and cook until peas are tender. Add sugar. Serve.
