I bet you never thought you could make tea out of pumpkin seeds!

  • 2 C. pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
  • 1 key lime
  • 8 C. water
  • 1/2 C. honey

Put the pumpkin seeds in a food processor or blender and grind until you have a coarse powder.  Cut lime into 1/4-inch rounds.  Put water, lime, and pumpkin seeds in a covered glass jar and store in a warm place for 6-12 hours.  Strain water and discard the pumpkin seed mash as well as the lime pieces.  Stir in honey.  Serve cold or warm.
