  • 1 lb. ground beef
  • 3/4 tsp. black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. red pepper flakes
  • 3 C. carrots, sliced
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 1 egg
  • Tomato juice

Mix all ingredients and place in casserole, pour over top enough tomato juice to just moisten.  Bake in a 250 degree oven for 1 hour and 15 minutes adding more tomato juice if necessary to keep moist. Serve warm and enjoy.
