Peppermint Chocolate Fudge

A perfect recipe to make for giving this as gifts to your loved ones during the cold holiday season

  • 2 C. (12 oz.) milk chocolate chips
  • 1 C. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand® sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated)
  • Dash salt
  • 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract
  • 1/4 C. crushed hard peppermint candy

In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate chips with condensed milk and salt. Remove from heat; stir in peppermint extract. Spread evenly into wax paper-lined 8- or 9-inch square pan. Sprinkle with peppermint candy. Chill 2 hours or until firm. Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off paper and cut into squares. Store covered in refrigerator.

Yield: 2 lb.

  • This is exactly what I meant when I said you can make so many different flavors with this easy fudge recipe. I use this one too...and I also make a white fudge the same way one using the white chocolate chips and then add whatever flavor and sometimes color too it. when doing it for friends I cut the fudge in pieces with mini cookie cutters the size halfway between what you use to decorate the edge of a pie crust and that of a it's like a two bite size piece, is the best way I can exp
