  • 2 C. all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 C. brown sugar
  • 3/4 C. walnuts chopped
  • 1 1/2 butter, diced and cold
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 2 lbs. small plums, pitted and cut

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Use a 10-inch pan and spray it with a light coat of non-stick spray. In a large bowl mix the walnuts, flour and brown sugar. Add the egg yolk and butter and mix it. You might want to use a mixer for better results. It should look crumbly. Pour 2 C. of the mixture into the pan and pat it down evenly. Place the plum slices in a fun pattern of your choice. Sprinkle the rest of the crumbs on top of the plums. Bake the tart for an hour. Let it cool for 15 minutes.
