Perfect Plum Dump Cake

- 1 ½ sticks unsalted butter, melted
- 5 purple plums, pitted and sliced
- 1 C. port wine
- 1 C. granulated sugar
- 1 box white cake mix
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Place the plum slices in a greased baking dish evenly. Pour the sugar over the plums and ¼ c. of the wine over that. Evenly pour the cake mix on top of the fruit and the rest of the wine. Pour the melted butter over the cake and bake for 40 to 45 minutes.
