Persimmon Bread

This simple bread has a sweet fruity flavor with a healthy nutty crunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 C. sugar
  • 1 1/2 stick butter
  • 2 eggs, well beaten
  • 2 C. flour, sifted with 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 C. persimmon pulp
  • 1/2 C. chopped nuts

Directions

Cream sugar, butter, eggs, flour and baking soda. Blend in persimmon pulp and nuts. Bake in loaf pan 1 hour at 325 degrees.
