  • 1-2 C. broccoli florets
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • ½ tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 C. basil leaves
  • ¼ C. pine nuts
  • 1/3 C. olive oil
  • ¼ C. Parmesan cheese, shredded

Using a food processor, combine garlic, lemon juice, basil, red pepper flakes, pine nuts, oil, and Parmesan. Toss pasta and broccoli with pesto, transfer to a cast iron skillet, top with extra Parmesan, and bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
