Pesto Linguine

Ingredients
- 1/2 C. blanched almonds
- 2 lg. garlic cloves
- 1/2 C. fresh basil leaves
- salt
- pepper
- 1 lb. fresh tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped
- 1/3 C. virgin olive oil
- 1 lb. linguine
Directions
In a blender, combine almonds, garlic, basil and salt and pepper, to taste. Chop ingredients finely. Add tomatoes and oil and blend until smooth. Bring 4 qts. water to a boil in a pot. Add 2 Tbs. salt, then pasta. Make sure the pasta is completely covered with water. Stir. Cook over high heat, while stirring frequently until pasta is al dente. Drain pasta. Pour pasta into a large serving bowl. Add sauce and toss. Serve.
