Pierogies with Peppers, Onions and Sausage
Ingredients
- 2 boxes frozen pierogies, any flavor (i.e. Mrs. T's Pierogies)
- 1 sm. red onion, sliced
- 4-6 sausage links, casing removed
- 1-2 bell peppers (your color choice), sliced
- 1 Tbs. light oil
Directions
Cook pierogies in salted water per instructions on the box. In a deep skillet, sauté sausage until no longer pink. Drain fat. To same skillet with sausage, add oil, onions and peppers and cook until soft. Add cooked and drained pierogies and heat through, coating pierogies with onion and peppers.
