Pink Confetti Sherbet
Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- Juice of 2 medium oranges
- Juice of 2 medium lemons
- 1 1/2 C. granulated sugar
- 1 C. milk
- 1 C. water
- 1/4 C. chopped maraschino cherries
- 3 Tbs. cherry juice
Directions
Combine bananas, orange and lemon juices. Add sugar, milk and water, cherries and cherry juice. Mix well. Pour into a 9x5x3-inch loaf pan and freeze until firm. Remove from freezer and break into chunks in large chilled mixing bowl. Beat smooth with electric mixer. Return to loaf pan, cover and freeze until firm.
Yield: about 2 1/2 pints
