Pinto Bean Dip
Ingredients
- 2 15 oz. cans no-fat refried pinto beans
- 3 cloves chopped garlic or garlic powder to taste
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 C. of salsa
- 1/4 C. onion, minced
- 1 C. of shredded Colby jack cheese
- Salt to taste
Directions
Rinse, drain the beans and pour into a 1-qt. saucepan. Heat on medium and while stirring add the garlic, onions, cumin, salsa, salt and cheese. Serve with tortilla chips. Also so delicious with guacamole and sour cream.
OR you can use this bean dip as the spread on your Chalupas and then you just have to top with lettuce and tomatoes.
